Research Proposal

Are psychopaths a result of bad parenting or society molded them?
 Psychology behind psychopaths.
"Fact: A psychopath is born every 47 seconds.”  Kent A. Kiehl stated. One might think that a psychopath is that one person that we see often in movie. The villain who kill for joy, who use others in the rottenest way, a person with no reasoning. The truth about psychopath is not even close to that image that we have. Most psychopaths are close to normal people with a normal life but with a disorder. A mental disorder that yet haven't be found the reason for it. Most of the studies made by professionals have come to one conclusion. Psychopaths are not easy to identify and most of them have been abused when they were kids. No all but a portion of them had been victims of child abuse. Also some say that is genetics combine with personal factors, is being said that if a psychopath has a kid his kid is more likely to become a psychopath because of its genes.  But what is a psychopath? a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior. An unstable and aggressive person. Psychopathy is a disorder that is very hard to examine and has been a big issue to doctor to find with exactitude a person that suffers from this disorder because there are other disorder that are related to it.  Specialist define psychopaths as a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience.  A psychopath can also be charming and chill, it can play to be a person just like the other in order for him to succeed in his “mission”. They are coolheaded people with very short control of their behavior, even though they are considered dangerous people and are more likely to become criminals, statistics show that psychopath are not a big portion when in come to crime. This leads us to questions such as, are psychopath born like that or modeled by society or environment? Why are women less likely to be detected with psychopathy? Difference between sociopaths and psychopaths, which one is most dangerous?

The purpose of this research of to inform people about psychopath, what are they and how our vision from them can vary depending on the person. Also the difference between psychopaths and sociopath because they have so many similarities people often confused them and make the wrong judgment. To make sure people understand why psychopaths turn into one and how their past, environment and biology effects them. The difference between a female psychopath and a male psychopath and why most psychopaths are man. Not only this factors are to be pronounce in this research paper also why they are so good at not being identify by a common person. The different test that are made in order for doctor to identify them. All this will be proving by books like “without conscience” by Robert D. Hare. PhD. And articles like “The reappearing psychopath: Psychopathy's stain on future generations” by Jack Pemment.” Associations among early abuse, dissociation, and psychopathy in an offender sample.” by the data base of PsycARTICLES. This are few of the articles and books that I will be using to make my research paper more efficient and with a more valid point.
The layout of this research paper will be in APA still font 12, double spacing and Times New Roman fonts with double space. It will be separated into different section starting with and introduction in which the list of topic will be put in order and also the thesis that we are answering will be put inside the introduction. An understandable definition of the word “psychopath” will also be provided. Each topic will be brake down into smaller topic and supported with evidence and data. At the end of each topic discuss it tide up making a relation to the thesis and the other topics that are being discuss. Some illustration might be used if needed to be use. The research paper will not be only focus on the reasons of why a psychopath becomes one, it will also include a deep understanding of it, differences between male and female psychopaths, and more interesting details. The length can vary depending on how much information will be omitted for the sake of not moving the attention from the central idea. There will be also some part that will be analyze for a deeper understanding.
